Sudheer Perla, Managing Director of Tabreed Asia, participated in a panel on “Clean Energy Integration in Infrastructure – Powering Progress” at the CII Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure Summit 2024 in Visakhapatnam. This summit, themed “Focus on Opportunities, Finance, Growth & Future Ready,” attracted leaders across sectors to explore India’s evolving infrastructure landscape, with an emphasis on sustainable growth and innovative financing.
The state of Andhra Pradesh is emerging as a critical hub for India’s infrastructure development, driven by large-scale projects across sectors such as transport, energy, and industrial growth. With India’s infrastructure investments expected to grow from USD 204 billion to USD 322 billion by 2029, Andhra Pradesh is strategically positioned as a key player in this transformation. The state is home to vital industrial corridors like the Vizag–Chennai and Visakhapatnam-Raipur corridors, part of India’s first coastal economic corridor, which aligns with the country’s “Act East Policy.”
Sudheer emphasized the role of clean energy solutions, particularly district cooling, in powering the next generation of infrastructure. He highlighted how integrating sustainable cooling technologies like district cooling is essential to making cities and industrial hubs in Andhra Pradesh more energy-efficient and climate-resilient. As Andhra Pradesh scales its infrastructure to meet future demands, Tabreed’s expertise in district cooling offers an innovative approach to reducing energy consumption and emissions while ensuring reliable cooling for large developments.
