Tabreed in India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) in 2021 to jointly develop trigeneration and District Cooling opportunities in India.

Through this MoU both parties seek to develop eligible projects to jointly engage with various Central, State or Smart City administrations for ongoing greenfield, redevelopment or brownfield projects currently in progress, to propose District Cooling or Cooling-as-a-Service offering. Given the experience of EESL as the largest public energy services company (ESCO) in the world and its role as a market catalyst for trigeneration and District Cooling projects in India and Tabreed’s extensive experience in building, owning, and operating District Cooling assets that provide sustainable energy efficient cooling solution, the partnership is a natural fit.
